I've found some really great blogs about rapid elearning development. They are typically sponsored by one of the products, but the information usually applies to any of them.

Quiz settings are very important. By default, Captivate only allows one attempt at a quiz. This sounds reasonable until something unexpected happens, like the user closes the course window, is interrupted mid course, etc. Captivate will not allow them to retake the quiz.
I would recommend changing the default settings to allow "Infinite" attempts. You can set a specific number (3, 4, whatever) if you prefer, but you want to make sure the user has more than one shot at the quiz.
This is the same location you are able to adjust what you consider a passing score to be (80% is the default)
These settings are available in Captivate CS3 under Quiz>Quiz Preferences>Pass or Fail.

Even though inContact elearning supports any tool that creates SCORM 1.2 or 2004 compatable content, I have come across some "gotchas":
Publish Captivate files using the following settings:
Flash Player Version: Flash Player 9
elearning output: SCORM 2004
In the elearning output window, I have run across issues when the Reporting level is set to "Interactions and Score". It grades the user on where they clicked on the page. So unless you aredoing an interactive course that should be graded, select "Report Score"
