Hi Shannon and welcome to the board.
The answer to your question is actually yes! All you need to do is add a text-to-speech (TTS) sequence to a Play or Menu action. Instead of "hard-coding" what the TTS should speak (like "All the king's horses and all the king's men") stick the variable name in curly braces that contains the value you would like to speak.
For example, say you a variable called DayOfTheWeek and based on what the day of the week is you assign a value of Monday, Tuesday, etc. In the phrase list you would simply put the name of the variable in the list like this {DayOfTheWeek}.
